Awards
Awards in the Australian St Andrew's First Aid system
Are recommended to the Board and the National Training Officer, the board will then consider the award.
Awards for St Andrews Australia are announced annually by St Andrew's Day, this is done by official letter from the CEO on approval by the board, the award is to be given at the annual St Andrew's First Aid Dinner.
For medals a fully verifiable log book of duties , which has been counter signed by the senior on duty officer at the time of the event, then approval by the National Training Officer to the board that the service record is correct, a bar is added for every five years service.
A police check is required before any member can commence public duties, the cost of this check is to be met by the member. The National Training Officer will keep a register of of Police Checks.

Uniform Policies
Wearing/Purchase of Corps Uniform
- Members must purchase all uniform items from the St Andrew's Supplies Department at National Headquarters.
- Uniform must be worn by all ranks in accordance with the following regulation.
- Only authorised personnel who have had their application approved by National Headquarters may wear St Andrew's First Aid uniform.
- Smart, correct dress is always to be shown to enhance the image of St Andrew's First Aid.
- Members who possess the complete uniform must not appear in mixed dress, i.e. part uniform and part plain clothes.
- Public duties: Uniform must be worn at pre-arranged events. It is the responsibility of the Duty Officer to maintain uniformity. A Duty Officer may specify a specific uniform be worn for a special event e.g. A Royal visit, members must be instructed of any change to the norm prior to the event. Members improperly dressed should not be permitted on duty.
- Conferences and meetings: Uniform should be worn whenever possible when representing the Corps.
- Committees: Uniform should be worn by Members when representing the Corps at external committee meetings.
- Outwith Australia: Members may wear uniform outwith Australia only with written permission of National Headquarters.
- Collection of funds: Uniform must be worn for authorised St Andrew's First Aid Association fundraising collections. Associate Members must have their ID card clearly displayed. Uniform must not be worn when collecting for other organisations unless with permission of National Headquarters.
- Badges: Badges and logos are protected and persons are not entitled to wear or use them for unauthorised or commercial purposes. Any misuse of these items noticed by members must be reported to National Headquarters.
- ID cards must always be worn and visible when in uniform.
Dress Uniform
- NATO Style Navy Jumper with epaulets Corps badges on either arm near shoulder level
- Light Blue Shirt-- badges the same as per jumper
- Navy Tie, clip less or extend able security tie
- Navy trousers

- rank slides as per regs
- Working Uniform
- Cotton Drill navy trousers and shirt, same jumper as per dress, must be purchased through headquarters, badging as per regs
- High Visibility vests and jacket as per the Victorian Work Cover Authority regulations, the colour is yellow with silver reflective strips.

- Commandant-in-Chief; Depute Commandant-in-Chief - Two rows gold oak leaf.
- Commissioner - One row gold oak leaf.

- Commissioners; Honorary Medical Officers - Blue velvet with red Saltire in centre, edged with gold braid. Small Corps button at top.
