Anthony Cree

Dr. Anthony Cree, OAM, JP, PhD

Anthony started teaching positions in Victoria (Education Department and Salesian Order), in U.K. (private and government schools) and two terms at Lycee in Northern France.

He then became a Lecturer in English and Language in Victoria College (Burwood Campus) from 1984 to 1988. In 1994, he was a visiting fellow and consultant on the development of the Masters program in Westminster College (now Brooks University). After that, he became a Lecturer in Education in the University of Ballarat from 1988 ? 2000. During the years in University of Ballarat, he was responsible for overseas students and was accountable for the Master of Education program and BA, B. Teaching Program. He also introduced and developed Special Education and Gifted Education units in M.Ed. undergraduate course and visited Canada and India recruiting students. At present, he is the Senior Fellow in Mannix College, Monash University (Part time) and is the Senior Consultant of ReStart Program (Western Region) which is based at Deakin University.

He was appointed the Editor of the Australian National Registry of School, College and Universities Crests and Badges of The Australian Association of Independent Schools Publications from 1998.

His professional qualification include being the Secretary of Commonwealth Association for Teacher Exchange (Australia), elected in 1996 (Affiliated with the Commonwealth League for Teacher Exchange U.K. - U.K. course leader from 1993 to 2001). He was also the Chair of the Aboriginal Education Council for the Western Region of Victoria (Founding committee and consultant to the Koori Outdoor Education School at Mildura) and was the Western Region Co-ordinator CHIP for foundation.

Has been involved in Security / Risk assessment, having completed CPP for politicians, Dignitaries and Royalty managed large scale events, first aid officer to countless functions over a long period has worked locally and overseas for many years.

David Alexander-Fleming

David Alexander-Fleming, JP

David is a married father of two boys and a long serving public servant at the Australian Taxation Office since 1990. He has acted as treasurer for a number of organisations over many years. A former member of the Australian Defence Force, David is now an Officer of Cadets in the Australian Army Cadets at the rank of Major where he undertakes the duties of Staff Officer - Personnel at Victoria Brigade Headquarters.

David was appointed as a Justice of the Peace in 2003 and also serves as a Committee Member of the Victoria Day Council. He is a Life Member of the Royal Australian Army Pay Corps Association and enjoys corporate membership with the Australian Institute of Management. He is a published author of two books, one in 1994 and the other in 2003.

A keen first aider having served for many years in the past at his workplace, he continues to hold a Level 2 First Aid Certificate and contributes to his workplace Emergency Evacuation Team as a Floor Warden.

Is currently a teacher at a number of Tertiary Insitutions, 20 years expeience in the Australian Defence Forces.

This has involved him in both the public and private sectors, he has a long track record of community involvement.

Fr. Michael Protopopov

Very Rev. Dr Fr Michael Protopopov OAM, JPBoard Member

The Very Rev Dr Micheal Protopopov OAM, JP is a historian and author of a number of monographs, including a comprehensive history of the Russian Orthodox community in Australia. Fr Michael is noted for his community work as Chairman of the Russian Welfare Society, Deputy Chair of the Federation of Russian Welfare Organisations in Australia and Chairperson of the South Eastern Region Migrant Resource Centre (Melbourne). Fr Michael is also a Justice of the Peace, a Member of the Australian Institute of Management, the Australian College of Education and a Bail Justice. In 1991 he was awarded the Order of Australia, "For services to the Russian community" and in 1997, the Order of Friendship by the Government of the Russian Federation.

From 1964 to 1989 Fr Michael taught in numerous schools, and from 1977 onwards was principal of a number of government schools. Ordained to the diaconate in 1972 and the priesthood in 1975, Fr Michael continued to teach until he retired from the Teaching Service in 1989. Currently he lecturers in history and theology at the Melbourne Institute of Orthodox Christian Studies and is Dean of the Russian Orthodox Church in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, and Tasmania. In addition to his pastoral duties Fr Michael also managers a very large aged care residential village in Dandenong, Victoria.

Craig Ellery

Dr. Craig Ellery, PhD

Craig is currently the National Training Officer also Board member.

He served with the Special Air Service Regiment [SAS] and holds numerous qaulifications in Bush Craft and survival tecniques. He is currently serving in the Army Reserve as a Medic. Craig is an experienced tertiary lecturer and has been involved in many community activities over the years.
